Focus and Scope Aim of Medicamentul Veterinar / Veterinary Drug (Med.Vet./Vet.Drug) is to shed light and to offer solutions to emerging and scientific issues that have stalled research on veterinary pharmacology, therapy, pharmacy, drug development topics, thereby contributing to improved animal health outcomes. The goal of Med.Vet. / Vet.Drug is to publish and disseminate the work to the scientific community. Journal brings together experts and stakeholders including animal health researchers, University media, and national agencies, pharmaceutical and diagnostic companies to discuss and advance the veterinary drug research agendas.
Authors are expected to publish papers in the related areas to the topic of this Journal and to treat the issues: a. Original scientific articles that present original results of basic research or drug related, b. Syntheses c. Case reports, which present original results of therapeutic practice d. Short communications, the presentation of results may be partial or brief comments of the scientific research or veterinary current practice, scientific opinions, etc., e. Translations, f. Notices of related fields (editorial, events, new products, related professional associations etc).

Medicamentul Veterinar/Veterinary Drug is a peer reviewed journal, edited in Romanian language with English abstracts (for the printed edition and for the on on-line-ro.edition) and respectively, with all original papers translated in English on the on-line-en. edition from 2011. From 2012 was released this site of the Journal and from December 2012 we have the acceptance for indexing in EBSCO.
The Med.Vet./Vet. Drug is the sole publication with this topic, appeared in Romania continuously since 2007.
